Hawthorn vs Collingwood – MCG – 1st

Hawthorn vs Collingwood – MCG – Friday 1st August – 7.40pm

Another great footy game at the MCG, I think The Hawks will beat The Pies. Although it will be another close footy game. This will be my 1st game this weekend at the MCG and glad I have been organized with all my tickets. Hawthorn are 3rd on the AFL ladder and Collingwood are 6th on the AFL ladder – Hawthorn being my Melbourne team that I support. Go The Hawks!!

Hawthorn

The Hawks are having a ripper of a year this season. Although they lost to Geelong last friday in a blockbuster. They have won the last 3 out of 5 games – They should beat The Pies in a close game at the MCG. Go The Hawks!!

Collingwood

The Pies are having a pretty good year this year. But they have only won 2 out of the last 5 games. Including losing to Essendon by 48 points last weekend at the MCG, in a game they should have won. Go The Hawks!!!

Last time they met – Hawthorn & Collingwood

The last 2 times Hawthorn & Collingwood played – The Hawks have won by 8 points & the most rescently by 65 points this year at the MCG. In 2006 The Pies defeated The Hawks twice by 35 & 45 points. Go The Hawks!

Wow! What a weekend of footy it was. With 6 upsets, who would have pick that aye? I was happy to see my team The West Coast Eagles defeat The Saints by 17 points. Woohey thats 3 wins out of 17. Oh well atleast they had a win, wish I’d picked it though. Hope to see them have a win against Melbourne in a couple of weeks at The MCG. Go The Eagles!! Ha! – Anyhow I love me footy. Even if my teams aren’t playing. I still enjoy watching other footy teams play and especially seeing it live at the MCG, The Dome or Skilled Stadium. Gotta love Melbourne!
